The place is one of the finest examples of Mughal architecture in India which has been able to gather a large number of tourists worldwide.

Golden Triangle tour- an amazing trip to explore

<o:smarttagtype downloadurl="http://www.5iantlavalamp.com/" name="PlaceName" namespaceuri="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"></o:smarttagtype><o:smarttagtype downloadurl="http://www.5iantlavalamp.com/" name="PlaceType" namespaceuri="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"></o:smarttagtype><o:smarttagtype downloadurl="http://www.5iamas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" name="City" namespaceuri="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"></o:smarttagtype><o:smarttagtype downloadurl="http://www.5iantlavalamp.com/" name="place" namespaceuri="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"></o:smarttagtype>

I was back to my place for a week. When I heard about the Golden Triangle Tour offered by the Go Heritage India Journeys I was impressed. I found it a golden chance to visit the three blissful cities Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.

Though Delhi and Agra both were a good experience but I enjoyed Jaipur the most. This pink city Jaipur is a vibrant land packed with a large number of forts and palaces to spot. I started my visit from the City Palace which is a perfect blend of traditional Mughal architecture. After the Mughal Palace I enjoyed the adventurous elephant ride at Amber Fort. Moreover the evening sound and light show at this imperial palace was a unique experience. After the royal ride at Amber Fort the guide took me to explore the Rajput treasure, Jaigarh Fort. Its watch towers and extensive walls were amazing. On the very next day of my Golden triangle tour I discovered the Nahargarh Fort located on the north west of City Palace. Moving ahead to the attractions of this pink city I spotted the historical Jantar Mantar. After making a visit to these historical monuments I made a visit to the Albert Hall Museum which was also a good experience.

Along with Jaipur the golden triangle tour allowed me to visit one of the finest wonders of the world- Taj Mahal. Luckily I got a chance to visit this place on full moon night and truly it was a gorgeous moment to explore. Also the monuments and historical sites in the political capital of India, Delhi added a nice experience to my Golden Triangle Tour but surely to visit the forts and palaces of the Jaipur city was a relishing experience.

Make your trip exciting through the Golden Triangle Tour

<o:smarttagtype name="place" namespaceuri="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"></o:smarttagtype><o:smarttagtype name="country-region" namespaceuri="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"></o:smarttagtype><o:smarttagtype name="City" namespaceuri="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"></o:smarttagtype>

India has always been a land of diverse culture and rich heritage. This majestic land offers a large number of places to visit and explore. Considering this fact we all friends planned to book a trip to discover more of our blissful nation India.

While planning this trip our main concern was the shortage of time. Due to our busy schedules we friends hardly get any time to spend together. But this time we all were very sure about one thing that we need to take a short break. After searching for about an hour over internet we all decided to book the most famous Golden triangle tour in India.

We started our tour from Delhi, then to Agra and finally to Jaipur – the three fabulous destinations covered in the Golden Triangle Tour. Our tour was organized by the Go Heritage India Journeys. Staring from the capital city of India- Delhi we covered the major attractions like Red- Fort, India Gate, ISKON temple, Jama Masjid , Humayun Tomb. Though all were good to explore but I personally liked the rick- shaw ride at Chandni Chowk. The zig- zag lanes of this jam- packed market was amazing and yes the lip- smacking sweets were cherry on the cake.

Our experience to the other two destinations Agra and Jaipur was also good. The magnificent monument Taj Mahal, the epitome of love was pleasurable to visit. Since childhood I have been listening stories about Taj Mahal, the love of Shah Jahan for his wife which made him built this unique monument. I was stunned to see its white stone beauty. One of my friends was so touched by its grace that he called his wife on the spot and of-course on his act we all were laughing high.

The third and the last destination of our golden triangle tour was the royal city Jaipur. After visiting various lawns, gardens and palaces we all left for the Amber Fort and truly it was the place which I liked the most. As it was a bit monotonous to visit the historical monuments, the elephants ride at Amber Fort was the most exciting part of the entire trip- the one which I enjoyed a lot.

Golden triangle tour- a lifetime experience

Though India is housed with lots of creations to explore but in order to experience the best of India at a glance me and my family booked a Golden Triangle Tour. As the name suggests the Golden Triangle Tour in India offered us a visit to the most exotic places Delhi, Agra and Jaipur

Due to the shortage of time my family decided to visit India by the Golden Triangle Tour. I am a travel freak but when I heard of making the trip just in three nights and four days to the three beautiful destinations Delhi, Agra and Jaipur i was a bit disappointed. I thought it would not be possible to visit all the destinations in these cities like royal palaces, historical monuments and exotic wildlife. But now I must confess that i was wrong.

The Golden Triangle Tour was a privilege to experience India at its best especially for people like us, with shortage of time. The tour was so fascinating that me and my family simply loved it. From the elephant ride at Amber Fort to the gorgeous Taj Mahal all was truly awesome.

The most fascinating part of the entire trip was the elephant ride at Amber Fort. Though my children were scared at first but later they too enjoyed it a lot. The most pleasant part for my wife was the shopping zone at Jaipur. She packed her bags with lots of bandini dupatta and artificial jewellery from the market. Moreover the cherry on the cake was the delicious Rajasthani food, it truly was a finger licking cuisine.

Rajasthan tour Review - Daily Trip Details From A Tourist

Dear subrarto

Recd your mail and thank u for the mail
Day 1
We reached at 2 waited for the lbaggages came out at 2:30 - recd by your guys. The Republic day is celebrated in the capital state of India, New Delhi every year with full zeal, pride and honor. The day evokes the feeling of motherhood and patriotism.

To mark significant importance of this national day, every year a grand celebration is held in the capital, New Delhi, the parade halts at India Gate. It starts with a grand parade with different infantry from the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force; the President of India who is the supreme commander in Chief of all the three regiments takes the salutes. Various vibrant displays, floats, dance troupes and cultural extravaganza from various states and regions of the nation are also displayed to honor the occasion. The most eagerly awaited event of this majestic celebration is an impressive fly past, put on by the Indian Air Force and Naval aircrafts.

Every year on 26th January, every Indian citizen exacerbates their regional identity and put their differences in the backseat. The Delhi - Agra - Jaipur Tour Circuit gives the glimpse of the rich Indian culture, traditions and heritages. The Golden Triangle Tour in India covers the most enchanting cities of India endowed with magnificent forts and palaces, marvelous monuments and awe-inspiring heritages.

The Golden Triangle Tour in the country once called the Golden Sparrow, India, starts from Delhi. Delhi is the political capital of India that has witnessed the rise and fall of several dynasties. This cosmopolitan metropolis is laden with handful exquisite tourist attractions which epitomize the glory of past and grandeur of modern-day such as India Gate, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, Chandni Chowk, Red Fort, metro rail and many more.

Agra is the next destination in the Golden Triangle Tour circuit where stands the monument of love, Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal is no doubt the major attraction in India for this white marble marvel is the finest splendor among the seven wonders of world. A tour in India without visiting Taj Mahal is just like going to Egypt and not seeing the pyramids. Besides Taj Mahal, Agra is the home to other heritage sites recognized by UNESCO- Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri.

The third anchor city of this enchanting India tour is Jaipur. Jaipur, the Pink City is the first planned city of India soaked with magnificent forts and palaces, landscaped gardens and other monuments. Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), City Palace and Jantar Mantar are the prime tourist attractions in Jaipur that tell the sagas of mighty Rajputs who ruled here.

The customized Golden Triangle Tour packages are the best means to discover the culture, traditions and heritages of India.

India Gate-A tour of Lutyens’ Delhi

India Gate or All India War Memorial, designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens is perhaps one of the most impressive structures in India, suited in the heart of New Delhi with lush green lawns in the backdrop.

This 42 m high gateway at Rajghat was built in the memory of 90,000 soldiers who laid down their lives during World War I. At the base of the India gate there is another memorial, the Amar Jawan Jyoti (Flame of the immortal warrior), that was added after independence, to remind the nation of soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the Indo-Pakistan War.

Every year on 26th January India gate, Delhi stands witness to the Republic Day parade where colorful and diverse cultural heritage of India is displayed.

Surrounding the imposing structure is a large expanse of lush green lawns, Children Park and the famous boat club which is a popular picnic spot. This time I had a chance to visit India, I booked a Golden Triangle Tour in India as I was impressed by its 02nights/03 days itinerary covering the national capital, Delhi, The Taj Mahal and Jaipur, the Pink City of Rajasthan.

When I landed in Delhi, I was thoroughly impressed by the warm welcome by travel agent at the airport. Now, I started my journey in the land of contrasts, India. The moment I stepped out of the airport and left for my pre-booked five star hotel in Delhi, I was shocked to see the traffic on the roads of Delhi. I wondered, I am in a developing country. It added to my surprise, how the poor people of India could afford to buy such imported branded cars. I know that the world’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani is an Indian, but I surprise if everyone is Ambani. Anyhow, I covered the distance to my hotel viewing the sky-touching flyovers over-flooded with cars, bikes and a special kind of three-wheeled public transport called auto-rickshaw.

After unwinding myself, I left for a city tour to Delhi. I was impressed by the cosmopolitan culture of Delhi. The temples, monuments and markets in Delhi were just mind-blowing especially the Akshardham Temple and its boat ride and musical fountains in the evening. When I went to India Gate, I was spellbound by its beauty and significance, yet I could not resist myself shooting the snake charmer sitting near the monument. After a full day city tour in Delhi covering the other tourist attractions like Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, Reed Fort, Jama Masjid and so on, found the tour to Delhi a bit incomplete. The guide had shown me only the rich part of Delhi but I was more interested to see the dark side. I called my travel agent and requested him to book a tour that shows real India which we read in books and newspapers. I got my tour in India re-arranged. As per the new schedule, I was to leave for a Slum Tour in Delhi and a Heritage Rickshaw Ride in Delhi next morning.

My second day in India at Delhi was an odyssey through the poor yet rich Indians. The second day tour in Delhi started with a rickshaw ride in the narrow streets of Chandni Chowk. I was awe-struck to see the unlimited number of visitors in the age-old market of Chandni Chowk. The small shops, road stall stalls and other humdrums at Chandni Chowk gave me the opportunity to enhance my photography and try my bargaining skills. I was amazed to have the tongue-tingling spicy Indian pan-cakes at Parathe Wali Gali and lip-smacking Indian ice-cream-Kulfi, I guess. I can not describe how much I enjoyed the heritage walk in Chandni Chowk and the Indian food. This was the end of the first part of Real India Tour where beer is cheaper than water, where the population is ever-increasing and where the people always a smile on their faces.

The later half of the day was reserved for a Slum Tour in Delhi. I and my generous guide now left for a slum located in the East Delhi. The reached there by the air-conditioned metro-rail followed by an auto-rickshaw ride. The moment I disembarked the three-wheel vehicle, I could feel the slum people starring at me. Without paying much attention to the startling eyes, I along with my guide entered the slum area. I was shocked to see how anyone could live in such unhygienic conditions. People were bathing in open under a public tap with a long queue waiting for their turn, the public toilet was stinking like hell and children wearing shabby clothes were playing in mud at the time when they were supposed to be in school. I had never imagined the pathetic condition of the slum people. I silently in my heart begged pardon from the God for making fun of them.

A group of ladies gathered around whispering about me. Though, I could not understand their language, yet the expressions were enough to explain their talks. The guide, as an interpreter, introduced us. I was taken aback by the smile on their faces in such deplorable conditions. Though, they were poor, yet they had the most precious thing that can never be bought anywhere in the world- a smile. They struggle the whole day for one-time meal, yet they smile and cherish every moment of their life. I respect their spirit to live. These illiterate people of slum taught me the most important lesson of the life. Smile and happiness can never be bought and sold. Life is like a rose flower that has thorns in its stem.

Hats off to them!

Wake Up Delhi! Commonwealth 2010 is knocking your door

The 19th Commonwealth Games which are supposed to be held in Delhi in year 2010 in the month of October is just at the doorstep, yet the citizens of great India are in dilemma whether Delhi will be able to host this international event or not. My Dear Delhites, it’s the time to wake up and show your enthusiasm of participating in this special event. Instead of cursing the government for the slow development and late delivery of the projects, we need to extend our help which we rarely do being good citizens of India!

XIX Commonwealth Games 2010 have already gained popularity world-wide for being be the most expensive Commonwealth Games ever with an estimated budget of USD1.6 billion. The sum of 2,300 crores has been allotted for the Commonwealth Games in India’s Budget 2010. To bring the city of Delhi on the world map of the cosmopolitan cities government is spending money like anything to construct the Games Village, flyovers, metros and so on and on. Yet, I feel all this is worthless till the Delhites do not value it. Apart from criticizing the government and other authorities to develop the city, they hardly contribute to it.

In my opinion, the lack of enthusiasm and contribution on the side of the public is the reason for the delay of the projects. You all will agree with me if you answer a few simple questions with conscious- How many times have we planted a tree to make Delhi green? How many times have we used the dustbins instead of throwing the litter on the roads to make Delhi clean? How many times did we pass from a construction site with a sigh of thanks to the workers who work laboriously day and night for the development of Delhi (we instead criticize them)?

The aforementioned are just a few examples to show our contribution in the development of Delhi. The day we will find a positive reply and attitude for the above mentioned, we have the right to question the government and other authorities. We are a part and parcel of this society and we should never forget that in India government is by the people, for the people and of the people. So, only the people of India can develop Delhi. Let’s just do not fight among ourselves, else the others will again benefit from the divide and rule policy.

Let’s unite ourselves and make the mega event of XIX Commonwealth Games 2010 an example of Indian reunion and development.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://goldentriangletourism.blogspot.com/2010/03/wake-up-delhi-commonwealth-2010-is.html' title='Wake Up Delhi! I get bored very frequently and travel is the only thing that refreshes me. This time when I got bored with my monotonous work, I decided to go for a short tour in India as heard from my friends that India is a very pocket-friendly country where even beer is cheaper than water in Europe. I searched for an economical tour in India that can refresh me without making a hole in my pocket. First of all, I searched on net and found the Golden Triangle Tour everywhere. I was impressed with the itinerary of the Golden Triangle Tour and its cost but my mind could not believe that it would be so. Hence, I contacted the travel agency and add to my surprise, they offered me discounted rate on the already down-to- the-earth fare. So, without wasting any time I booked my air-tickets and the Golden Triangle Tour Package through the agent.

Finally, the day arrived when I left for India to unwind myself and explore this land of mysteries. The very moment I steeped on this great land, I was touched by the hospitality the cultured Indians. I was impressed by the welcome that I received me at the airport. On my way to my pre-booked hotel in Delhi, the agent gave me a brief introduction about India, especially Delhi, Rajasthan and Agra, the places that I was supposed to visit during my short stay in India. After unwinding myself at the hotel, I started my Golden Triangle Tour from Delhi.

A tour to Delhi took me to the heritages like Qutub Minar, Red Fort, India Gate, Lotus Temple and many other places. But the visit to Akshardham Temple in Delhi took away my breath. Everything at this Swaminaryan Temple is worth appreciating. I was spellbound by the journey on the time-boat that illustrated the glory of India with a history of over 10,000 years in the most discerning way. I was taken aback by the views of world’s first university Takshila and the sail through the ancient caves Ajanta and Ellora that tell the sagas of harmony of Indian religions. I become the admirer of Indians, the way they use technology to promote their cultural values when I saw the Musical Fountain show in the evening at the Akshardham Temple. I could not sleep the whole night. I was just lost in the memories of the day I spend in Delhi and was thinking what next I am going to explore the next day.

I spend my second day in India, exploring the colors of Rajasthan at the first planned city of India, Jaipur. I enjoyed the elephant ride to Amber Fort and the visit to magnificent City Palace and Palace of Winds. Here, I would like to mention that the best part of the tour to Jaipur was the Rikshaw ride. I was amazed to see the overwhelmed crowded city on Rickshaw. (Sorry, I forget to mention, Rikshaw is a cycle chariot and is a very famous and cheap mode of transportation in India.). This was not the end of my tour to Jaipur. My travel agent, I must say humble tour agent, ha arranged an evening tour to the ethnic Rajasthani village- Chokhi Dhani. Here, I enjoyed the scrumptious Rajasthani cuisine and the traditional folk dances and music. This village was filled with tourists who came from across the world to explore the beauty of India. I can never forget the traditional red-carpet welcome that I received here. On my way back to the hotel, my guide narrated a few Rajasthani folk tales. He also told me how the Rajasthani people live in the barren deserts always wearing a smile on their faces and still love their land like anything. My heart was filled with respect for these great Indians whom we foreigners call the emotional fools. The reality is that we the westerners need to learn from them to respect our nation and elders and love our families.

After spending the night remembering my parents and friends whom a owe love and respect, I started my journey to Agra. Agra was no less than a wonderland. I was awe-stuck to view the symbol of love-Taj Mahal. I could not understand how anyone could love so much so as to build a mausoleum so beautiful which reflects the divine beauty of love. All my senses were captivated by the heavenly beauty of Taj Mahal. I spent the whole day at Taj Mahal, yet I found myself short of time to explore this wonder in white marble. I bought a memento, a replica of Taj Mahal, and came back to my hotel room. It was my last day of the Golden Triangle Tour in India. Next day I had to catch my return flight from Delhi. I have traveled many countries till date but India is a land which can not be compared to any other. For the first time, I had tears in my eyes while departing from a foreign country.

When I came back to my country, I went directly to my mother and hugged her. I had never felt so ever before in my life. Thanks to the incredible India for telling me the importance of love and relationships in life.

Taj Mahal- The Pilgrimage of Lovers

Taj Mahal has always been the inspiration of poets, writers and lovers ever since its erection. We all have been reading poems and prose illustrating the beauty of this architectural splendor ever since our childhood. Chandani Chowk is an exquisite contrast to the contemporary shopping plazas in the cosmopolitan metropolis of Delhi. The age-old shops of Chandni Chowk still retain the charm of the bygone era. The market of Chandni Chowk is no less than a heritage in Delhi. The narrow streets of Chandni Chowk take the tourists to the famous tourist destinations of Delhi- Red Fort and Jama Masjid. A city tour in Delhi is just incomplete without paying a visit to the famous Chandni Chowk market.

A Heritage Walk in Chandni Chowk is a tempting experience while on the Golden Triangle Tour. A walk in Chandni Chowk is the best way to explore the alleys, chocked streets, havelis, century-old shops where the famous poet Ghalib spent his last days. Though the bustling market of Chandni Chowk is packed into incredibly small spaces and the streets are chocked with traffic ( cars, scooters, rickshaws, masses, bullock carts, cycles, and all damn modes of transport that can enter the narrow roads), yet this place is the favorite of all in Delhi - be it an Indian or a foreigner.

The heritage walk in Chandni Chowk provides the tourists with a chance to buy the traditional Indian antiquated handicrafts, hand-looms, jewelries, spices, dry-fruits at a throw away price. Tourists can try their bargaining skills at Chandni Chowk as first bargaining and then purchasing is the age-old trend in India which is still followed here.

The heritage walk in Chandni Chowk is a must for gourmands of Indian snacks and food to treat the taste buds with awesomely tasty Paranthas (Indian Pancakes) at the famous Paranthe Wali Gali and awesomely yummy non-vegetarian cuisine at Kareem’s near Jama Masjid. The fruit chaat ( fruit salad), gol-gappas (water balls), nimbu pani (fresh lime soda) and other traditional Indian snacks served at Halidram’s and other outlets invites the tourists to visit the bustling market of Chandni Chowk once again.

It is advised to take care of your personal belongings as pick-pockets are common in such bustling markets not only in India but all over the world.

Dilli Haat- The Traditional Indian B azaar

Delhi, the national capital of India combines in itself all the vivid colors of India. This is indeed the most enthralling destination in the Golden Triangle Tour itinerary that keeps the interest of the tourists alive from the very beginning of the Jaipur City Tour till end.

A rickshaw ride in Jaipur makes the Royal Palaces and Forts Tour in Jaipur even more enchanting. No doubt, the rickshaw ride in Jaipur is more alluring than any luxury train journey. It is so exciting to visit the City Palace and local markets etc of Jaipur on a cycle chariot. As the wine tastes the best in wine glasses; the same way Jaipur looks gorgeous if visited in its own style.

The rickshaw ride in Jaipur for foreign national tourists is no less than an adventure tour in India. At times the rickshaw rider flees the tourists from the crowd and at times he remains stagnant behind an elephant. Though the tourists sitting behind in the rickshaw may at times feel that the rickshaw rider has gone crazy but the truth is that the rickshaw riders take care of the tourists with great concern. They act as free guide taking you to the journey of unexplored India.

The cost-effective rickshaw ride journey in Jaipur is the most attractive part of the Golden Triangle Tour.

Chokhi Dhani- The Theme Village

Golden Triangle Tour in India is being sold as hot cakes these days.
